Özlem Köse

1995, Gaziantep

I realize my works on the rights of women, which they are deprived of and on the lives they are forced to live. An ordinary object that is presented from the daily life touches the details and forces us to think about the feelings of woman. All those that go through the sink hole are related with the things that many women have lived through… She is waking up after getting in the same swirl everyday and living through the collapse and time gets wasted at the same place all the time. As being against the mentality that provides just a single living area for women, blocking the masculine dominance that makes her imprisoned inside the holes…

In 2017, she graduated from the Painting Division of Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University (Third Winner of Diploma Project).

She is still continuing with her master education at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University.
